We’ve announced all our spectacular speakers for TEDxGlasgow 2015, now it’s time to let you in on the amazing Labs that will be taking place on the day too. All Labs will run in the ‘breaks’ during the event programme (twice each) at approximately 2.20pm and 4.50pm.
|Microsoft||Cities Unlocked||How can you help our most vulnerable citizens to move around our cities? Without the ability to see, how will you navigate our city? Come and try for yourself!|
|Edinburgh University||Future Worlds||Virtual experiences have and continue to dazzle our imaginations. Imagine no more! How will you respond to our virtual worlds?|
|Open Glasgow, Future Cities & GCMB||Future City Glasgow||How can you help rediscover and connect our city? Working with the raw material of data, help us build and develop Glasgow.|
|University of Glasgow||Visualising the Human Body||How can the media, digital and manufacturing industries support new medical advances? Come along and hear about new techniques to image the human body for the benefit of education, training and simulation in the digital age. See how the future of imaging of the human body is happening today.|
|Soluis||Virtual Reality: Why Not There from Here?||How will virtual reality technology change access to, interaction with, and understanding of spaces we can’t be; other places we just aren’t; and ‘big data’ that’s otherwise difficult to tangibly present? Find out with the aid of our walk-in VR ‘dome’ at TEDx Glasgow!|
There’s one or two more that may be joining the list very soon… stay peeled!
What’s more corporate ticket holders will be able to access an exclusive Lounge Lab for networking hosted by Virgin Money.
