Gurjit Singh Lalli
Curator & Founder
An entrepreneur with global experience and a keen interest in philanthropy and developing social venture capital firms. As an avid TED fan, Gurjit acquired the licence for TEDxGlasgow back in 2012, bringing together a team of volunteers to form an organisation that is now one of the most established TEDx events in the UK and Europe. He is responsible for nurturing our brain trust and bringing his entrepreneurial spirit to the fore, in order to identify exciting speakers, ideas and partners.
Head of Partnerships & Co-Curator
With a varied background managing large-scale teams for big corporates and negotiating high value, international telecomms deals, Pauline is the newest member of our team joining us in 2015. In her role as Head of Partnerships, she works to identify and develop partners who understand our vision and share our values. In her time, she’s secured major contracts with valued partners including Scottish Government, JP Morgan and many more.
Head of Events
Now co-running an award-winning events company, Joanne has many years working in events across Europe for well-known businesses. Bringing both her own skills and a team of expert event professionals, Joanne is responsible for ensuring our events are fully scoped out, clearly planned and executed to success. Her event experience has enabled us to deliver an annual event that has doubled in size year-on-year, yet remained as streamlined and intimate as ever.
With varied experience in analytics and visualisation, Zeb builds human-centred information to tell visual stories, delivering meaningful insights for business leaders in the Finance sector. A foodie with a contagious passion for Scotland and TED talks alike, Zeb has embraced the challenge of researching the impact of our events. Building a dedicated volunteer team with matched passions of continuous fun-filled learning, innovation and collaboration, her ongoing research into such a unique event format has helped us to become one of the only TEDx events globally measuring the impact of sharing an idea.
